Hosam Aldouri is a survivor of the 1982 Hama Massacre. Shortly before the fall of the Syrian regime in December 2024, Swiss authorities had considered dropping the case against Rifaat al-Assad, accused of war crimes and crimes against humanity for his alleged role in this tragic event. He is testifying publicly for the first time, urging the Swiss authorities to continue the proceedings and ensure that Rifaat al-Assad is brought to justice.
