The Special Jurisdiction for Peace (Jurisdicción Especial para la Paz-JEP) has charged five senior leaders of the Revolutionary Armed Forces of Colombia – People’s Army (Fuerzas Armadas Revolucionarias de Colombia-Ejército del Pueblo-FARC-EP)’s Caribbean Bloc with crimes against humanity and war crimes against the indigenous peoples of the Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta and the Perijá Mountain Range.
