On September 17, the book “Olenivka. Crime. Memory. A Broken System” was presented. The publication reconstructs the chronology of Russia’s war crime that took the lives of dozens of Ukrainian prisoners of war — defenders of Mariupol — while at the same time serving as a memorial to the soldiers who perished in Olenivka.

The book was created by the Media Initiative for Human Rights (MIHR), the Memorial Platform, and The Ukrainians Media. The foreword was written by Denys “Redis” Prokopenko, commander of the 1st Azov National Guard Corps.
