Statement of the African Francophone Coalitions for the International Criminal Court (AFC ICC) on the surrender of suspect Maxime Jeoffroy Eli MOKOM GAWAKA to the ICC.

The African Francophone Coalitions for the International Criminal Court (AFC ICC):

• Encourage States Parties to the Rome Statute and those harbouring suspects on their territory to collaborate with the ICC.
• Encourage also the Central African authorities and States to cooperate with the Special Criminal Court of the Central African Republic (SPC-CAR) in the framework of its mandate.
• Call on the ICC Prosecutor to prosecute all suspects in the different situations in the Central African Republic, regardless of their side.

It is international justice and the ICC that will come out on top, with justice and reparations for the thousands of victims.
