Please read these Terms of Use (“Terms”) carefully before using the website coalitionfortheicc.org and its associated membership platform (the “Service”), operated by Coalition for the International Criminal Court c/o Women’s Initiatives for Gender Justice (“us,” “we,” or “our”).
By accessing or using our Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you disagree with any part of the Terms, you do not have permission to access the Service.
1. Communications
By creating an account on our Service, you agree to subscribe to newsletters, promotional materials, and other information we may send. However, you may opt out of receiving any or all of these communications by following the unsubscribe link or instructions in any email we send.
2. Purchases
When you purchase a product or service through our Service, you may be asked to provide certain information, including your payment details. By providing this information, you warrant that:
- You have the legal right to use any payment methods provided.
- The information you provide is accurate, complete, and current.
Purchases may be facilitated through third-party payment services, and by submitting your information, you authorize us to provide it to these services as described in our Privacy Policy.
We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order for reasons including product availability, errors in pricing or description, or suspected fraud.
3. Availability, Errors, and Inaccuracies
We are constantly updating our offerings on the Service, which may lead to delays in updating information on our website. We cannot guarantee the accuracy or completeness of any information on the Service. We reserve the right to update, change, or correct information at any time without prior notice.
4. Subscriptions
Certain parts of our Service are available through subscription (“Subscription(s)”), billed on a recurring basis according to the selected plan (e.g., monthly or annually). Your Subscription will automatically renew unless you cancel it. You may cancel via your online account or by contacting our support team.
A valid payment method is required to process Subscription fees, and you authorize us to charge your payment method for each billing cycle. If automatic billing fails, we may issue an invoice requiring manual payment.
5. Fee Changes
Coalition for the International Criminal Court reserves the right to modify Subscription fees at the end of the current billing cycle. We will provide prior notice of any fee changes, giving you an opportunity to cancel your Subscription. Continued use of the Service after the fee change constitutes agreement to the modified fee.
6. Refunds
Subscription fees are generally non-refundable, except where required by law. We may consider refunds on a case-by-case basis for unique circumstances.
7. Content
Our Service allows users to post, store, share, and otherwise make available certain content (“Content”). By posting Content, you represent that you own or have rights to the Content and that it does not infringe upon the rights of others. You retain rights to any Content you submit but grant us a license to use, display, and distribute such Content through the Service.
We reserve the right to review and remove any Content at our discretion and assume no responsibility for Content posted by users or third parties.
8. Accounts
When creating an account with us, you must provide accurate information and maintain the confidentiality of your account and password. You are responsible for all activities under your account. Notify us immediately of any security breaches or unauthorized use of your account.
Usernames may not infringe upon the rights of others, and we reserve the right to terminate accounts that violate this policy.
9. Links to Other Websites
Our Service may contain links to third-party websites. We have no control over these sites and assume no responsibility for their content or policies. We recommend reviewing the terms and privacy policies of any third-party sites you visit.
10. Termination
We may terminate or suspend your account immediately, without notice or liability, for any reason, including a breach of these Terms. If you wish to terminate your account, you may do so by discontinuing use of the Service.
11. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Netherlands, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any failure to enforce a right or provision will not constitute a waiver of such rights. If any provision is held invalid, the remaining provisions remain in effect.
12. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify or replace these Terms at any time. If a revision is material, we will provide at least 30 days’ notice before new terms take effect. Continued use of the Service after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
